Kevin Aoki
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER AND PRESIDENT
Restaurateur Kevin Aoki has worked in the food and beverage scene all of his life. Born and raised in New York and California and as the oldest son of seven children, Aoki took the business savvy from his Father, and the heart of his Mother, and worked his way to the top of the ever-evolving restaurant industry. Creating restaurant concepts, designing, and managing restaurants is in his DNA. Aoki’s Father, Hiraoki “Rocky” Aoki, founded the legendary teppanyaki-style Benihana restaurant chain. And much like his Father, Aoki has built his own restaurant empire with the Aoki Group (Doraku Sushi & Izakaya, Bluetree Café, 1938 Indochine, Qing Mu Noodle, Rocky Teppanyaki, and Aoki Teppanyaki) both in Hawaii and on the mainland.

Do any of Aoki Group venues have a dress code?
We invite for all to dine with us, whether it is a family dinner or celebration, we do not imply any dresscode. Our Waikiki locations have house-rules which may imply some form of a dresscode. Please check the venue information page for more information.
Lost and Found Policy
Aoki Group is not liable for any lost or misplaced items at any given time. As a complimentary service, we have a 30 day hold policy for any lost or misplaced items at our venues. After 30 days, the misplaced items will be sent to the region’s Headquarters and properly discarded.
